Position: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery\nWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Obstetrics, Labor and Delivery, and postpartum care to join our team in a Critical Access Hospital. This is a night shift position with a focus on providing high-quality care to mothers and their newborns.
\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n- \n
- Provide nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. \n
- Monitor and assess the condition of mothers and newborns to ensure optimal health outcomes. \n
- Administer medications and implement treatment plans as directed by the healthcare team. \n
- Educate patients and families on maternity care, breastfeeding, and newborn care. \n
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and support staff to facilitate safe delivery practices. \n
12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, including every third weekend and holiday rotation.
\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n- \n
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery. \n
- Current certifications in BLS/BCLS and NRP. \n
Holiday coverage is required for this position.
