Schedule: 3x12-Hour - Every Other Weekend is required
Shift Length: 12 hours
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Duration: 13 weeks
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Neuro Diagnostics with a minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing neurodiagnostic procedures, monitoring neurological function, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support the diagnosis and treatment of patients with neurological disorders in an acute care setting.
Documents Required:
- Valid RRT State license
- BLS Certified through AHA
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform neurodiagnostic procedures, including EEG monitoring and data collection, to assist in the diagnosis of neurological disorders.
- Monitor and assess patients during diagnostic testing, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
- Prepare, calibrate, and maintain neurodiagnostic equipment while ensuring accurate test results and documentation.
- Collaborate with neurologists, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to support patient evaluation and treatment planning.
- Maintain detailed patient records, analyze test findings, and adhere to hospital policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
