United Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) OR - Operating Room for a nursing job in Binghamton, New York.
Job Description & Requirements- Specialty: OR - Operating Room

Work Environment
- Work is performed in an office environment that requires working in proximity to other employees and patients.
- The office is air conditioned as well as heated.
- Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants is possible.
- Fast-paced environment including frequent interruptions.
- Frequent sitting, walking, standing and bending.
- Possibility of transporting of patients.
- Mobility may include access through a multi-level facility, including climbing stairs.
- Mobility may include coverage of multiple sites, transportation necessary.

- All Age Groups
HIPAA Roles-Based Access to Patient Information
- Clinical – Access to patient information that is not restricted (an example of restricted information is ARU) – Level 3
Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Two (2) years' experience working in healthcare OR Two (2) years' experience working in customer service
- Proficient PC skills
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology
Preferred:
- AAS in an accredited MOA program or equivalent
- Knowledge of insurance referral process
- Basic computer skills; HER, Excel, Microsoft Office
- Previous experience in OR Scheduling
License/Certification
Preferred:
- Current drivers license
