\n\nJob Summary\n

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - L&D to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Provide comprehensive care for patients during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages.
\n
• Circulate for normal spontaneous vaginal deliveries (NSVDs) and C-sections.
\n
• Float to UCLA Santa Monica Hospital Perinatal unit as needed.
\n
• Maintain patient safety and administer medications appropriately, including Pitocin, insulin drips, and anticoagulation therapy.
\n
• Conduct thorough assessments and monitor fetal heart rates using EFM and internal/external monitoring systems.
\n
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and provide breastfeeding and lactation support.
\n

\n\nQualifications\n

\n
• Current RN license in the state of California; no pending licenses accepted.
\n
• Minimum of 3 years of L&D experience in a high-risk facility and couplet care experience required.
\n
• BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications; ACLS preferred.
\n
• Experience with charting systems; Epic experience is required.
\n
• Proficient in managing high-risk antepartum conditions and emergency situations.
\n
• Experience in an academic setting is preferred.
\n
