\n\nJob Summary\nCuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
\n\nResponsibilities\n- \n
- Provide patient care for a 30-bed Medical Neuroscience Progressive Care unit focusing on medical neurological patients. \n
- Monitor patients using Centralized Cardiac Monitoring and ensure effective communication with support departments. \n
- Administer and manage advanced techniques, including CPAP/BiPAP and TR band management. \n
- Conduct Yale Swallowing Screen and provide care for CVA and neurology conditions. \n
- Float within all Cone Health facilities as required, ensuring staffing flexibility and patient care continuity. \n
- Participate in self-scheduling processes for a balanced work-life schedule. \n

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in neuro stepdown or progressive care environments. \n
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications are mandatory. \n
- Experience with EPIC charting system is required. \n
- Prior exposure to patient populations involving stroke and neurological disorders. \n
- Preferred previous experience in a charge RN or leadership position. \n
- Successful completion of an EKG competency exam is mandatory for all RNs. \n
