The Salesforce developer will be responsible for leading platform migrations, developing scalable custom solutions, and managing integrations, automation, and Marketing Cloud capabilities to deliver secure, high-performing enterprise CRM systems.Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our IT team. This position will be full-time, onsite, and is a contract position.
What You'll Do:
Lead Salesforce platform initiatives, including migration from Classic to Lightning Experience, managing full lifecycle delivery (architecture, gap analysis, deployment, and rollout)
Design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce
Rebuild legacy components into modern Lightning frameworks and drive user adoption through training and enablement
Manage and support Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud environments, including upgrades, enhancements, and performance optimization
Develop scalable solutions such as Batch and Queueable Apex for large data processing while adhering to governor limits
Build and manage Experience Cloud (Salesforce Sites) solutions with role-based access control and compliance (e.g., GDPR)
Design and implement automations using Flow Builder, Process Builder, and workflows to improve business processes
Lead Marketing Cloud implementations, including Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Automation Studio, with personalization, A/B testing, and triggered campaigns
Implement and maintain integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and Marketing Cloud Connect
Oversee data migration and data integrity processes, including data mapping, transformation, and loading from legacy systems
Configure and maintain security, sharing rules, validation rules, and approval processes to meet business and compliance requirements
Conduct impact analysis, testing, and validation of Salesforce releases across Sandbox and Production environments
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical leadership, and deliver scalable, high-quality solutions
What You'll Need:
Required:
8+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce development and administration
Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL
Proven experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Automation Studio
Experience designing and implementing Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs
Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, governor limits, and best practices
Experience with data migration, data transformation, and data management tools (e.g., Data Loader)
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web technologies.
Experience building asynchronous processing solutions (Batch Apex, Queueable Apex)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Preferred:
Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM-201)

Experience with Experience Cloud, security frameworks, and enterprise data governance.
Familiarity with email deliverability standards (DKIM, DMARC, SPF).
Experience leading platform migrations, domain migrations, or large-scale implementations.
