Role Description:

Midwest Express Clinic is looking for a qualified Clinical Laboratory Technologist for their new in-house laboratory. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to grow their laboratory experience in molecular. The team is looking for a Laboratory Technician. The right candidates must have a patient first mindset and want to join an innovative organization that truly values their employees. This is a full-time onsite position based out of the Crown Point, IN clinic. 

Basic job duties: Processing patient samples, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, monitor lab testing for accuracy, contribute to quality control and improvement efforts, maintain lab equipment, and oversee the ordering of lab supplies.

Job Requirements for Clinical Laboratory Technologist - High Complexity (Full Time - On Site)

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or a related field required.

• Minimum of 1 years of experience in a high-complexity clinical laboratory setting preferred.

• Proficient knowledge of laboratory safety and quality assurance procedures.

• Strong understanding of laboratory equipment, techniques, and procedures.

• Preferred background in molecular laboratory techniques

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing laboratory tests.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and other relevant software.

• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

• Located within commutable distance to the Laboratory

• Preferred ASCP certification or equivalent

Compensation details: 60000-80000 Yearly Salary
