Job Description

Job Description
A Day in This Role

Your day starts by opening a set of complex blueprints and schematics for automation equipment. You map out the build, then move from plan to practice—fabricating and completing scratch builds of machinery, setting solid machine foundations on-site, and guiding other construction teammates on safe, efficient interaction with the equipment. When projects call for a move, you’ll dismantle equipment for transport, then realign and calibrate assemblies to ensure smooth, safe operation upon reinstallation. Precision matters, so you finish components by grinding and filing—whether on-site or in controlled shop conditions. Travel happens on occasion, but it isn’t the core of the job.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and repair drawings for automation machinery and equipment.
  • Build machinery from the ground up (scratch builds) and prepare systems for operation.
  • Dismantle and prepare equipment for transportation when required.
  • Construct solid machine foundations on-site and coach crews on safe, efficient equipment interaction.
  • Align, level, and calibrate machinery and components to achieve safe, reliable performance.
  • Perform precision finishing by grinding and filing parts in the field and in controlled environments.
  • Travel as needed; this is not a travel-heavy position.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or GED (required).
  • Working knowledge of automation equipment and industrial machinery.
  • Some welding experience.
Schedule & Flexibility

First shift schedule is 7:00 AM–3:00 PM with overtime as needed.
