X-Ray Technologist

Location: Katy, TX

Pay Rate: Starting at $29.00/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with rotating early and late shifts)

Dean's Professional Services is seeking a skilled and dependable X-Ray Technologist to support a fast-paced, patient-centered healthcare team in Katy, TX. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols

- Prepare imaging rooms, equipment, and patients for procedures

- Educate patients on imaging processes in a clear, calm, and professional manner

- Position and monitor patients to ensure optimal image quality and safety

- Submit completed images for provider review in a timely manner

- Administer appropriate radiation doses while adhering to safety standards

- Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot minor issues as needed

- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED (required)

- Associate or technical degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program (required)

- Current ARRT certification (required)

- Active Texas MRT license (required)

- Experience with Epic or other EMR systems preferred

- Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and patient care standards

- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
