The Opportunity
You will serve as a critical field leader, driving the successful execution of large-scale commercial, industrial, and federal plumbing systems. This role allows you to direct on-site crews and mentor field teams while ensuring high-quality installations for a family-owned company. You will have the field autonomy to manage project logistics, backed by a dedicated mechanical leadership team.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Supervise and mentor field crews of plumbing professionals to ensure high-quality project delivery.
- Manage the daily execution of commercial plumbing installations in strict accordance with project plans.
- Coordinate complex daily tasks and delegate responsibilities to maintain strict project timelines and budgets.
- Maintain accurate documentation of daily field reports and safety meetings to ensure project transparency.
- Resolve real-time technical and logistical issues on-site to prevent project delays or safety hazards.
- Monitor material delivery schedules and coordinate equipment logistics to maximize on-site workflow efficiency.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Active State of Texas Plumbing License.
- Proven experience working as a plumbing foreman with a track record of successfully running crews.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting detailed mechanical drawings, architectural layouts, and code specifications.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% for specific project assignments outside the immediate local area.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills necessary for managing field logistics and team dynamics.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in leadership roles within the mechanical trade.
- Advanced knowledge of industrial plumbing systems and specialized federal or government installations.
- Proven track record of managing project cost-control measures and material logistics on large-scale builds.
