CNC Machinist

Overview

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Duration: 6 months contract to hire

Pay rate: $22-25

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented CNC Machinist who is eager to learn or brings prior experience setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC equipment. This role focuses on producing quality parts that meet print specifications while working safely and efficiently. Compensation is based on technical knowledge, level of machine independence, and problem-solving ability.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate CNC mills and/or lathes
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and drawings
• Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Load tools and make offset adjustments with supervision
• Perform in-process inspections to ensure part quality
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety standards

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
