JOB SUMMARY:
Provides overall recovery lifestyle coaching to patients in Pavillon's residential treatment programs. This role requires the ability to build trust, model healthy recovery behaviors, and support patients in developing structure, accountability, and community within a residential setting.
Experience/Education Requirements:
A strong background in recovery or recovery management practices. Graduation from an accredited senior high school or GED equivalent. One year full-time, wage-earning experience in substance abuse treatment or substance abuse education and/or current Counselor Intern status with the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Certification Board. Personal experience in recovery may substitute for educational, time or experience requirement.
