Responsibilities

  • Provide and document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.

  • Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing therapy sessions and modalities.

  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in electronic health records.

  • Monitor patient responses and report progress or adverse events promptly.

  • Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, home programs, and safety.

  • Ensure compliance with clinical policies, safety standards, and privacy regulations.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.

  • Support performance targets by contributing to daily/weekly treatment pipelines.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development and skill enhancement.

  • Support patient safety initiatives and identify potential risk factors in the clinic environment.

  • Assist with inventory management of therapy supplies and equipment.

  • Demonstrate reliability by meeting scheduled shifts and maintaining a professional demeanor.


Experience/Qualifications

  • Licensed or eligible Physical Therapist Assistant with state approval.

  • Document assessments, plans, and progress notes in electronic health records.

  • Assist licensed therapists in delivering therapy sessions and modalities.

  • Monitor patient responses; report progress and adverse events promptly.

  • Ensure compliance with clinical policies, safety standards, and privacy regulations.

  • Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and home programs.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for care coordination and discharge planning.

  • Contribute to daily/weekly treatment pipelines to support performance targets.

  • Maintain inventory of therapy supplies and equipment; assist with ordering.

  • Demonstrate reliability with scheduled shifts and professional demeanor.
