General X-Ray Tech

Location: NY 14642
Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 25, 2026)

• Pay: $2,230 – $2,500/week

• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hours preferred; up to 40 hours considered)

  • Weekend Rotation: Fri 10:30 AM–12:00 AM, Sat 8:00 AM–12:00 AM, Sun 7:30 AM–4:00 PM

  • On-Call: 2–3 shifts per month

  • Callback & Holidays: As needed per unit

  • Requirement: Must be able to report within 30 minutes for on-call shifts

• Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging per physician orders, ensuring correct patient identification and exam verification

• Position and assist patients safely, including those with limited mobility

• Produce high-quality diagnostic images and transmit accurately to PACS

• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment safely, ensuring minimal patient radiation exposure

• Monitor patient status and provide age-appropriate care throughout procedures

• Maintain accurate documentation and promptly report equipment issues

• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (required or eligible before start)

• ARRT Certification required

• Minimum 2 years X-ray Tech experience

• Trauma Level 1 experience required

• Recent OR experience required (within past 8 months)

• C-arm/O-arm experience required (within past 8 months)

• Ability to lift/move patients and stand for long periods

• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

• BLS (AHA only) required
