Job Description
Location: New York, 14642
Pay Rate: $2,837 – $3,175 (weekly)
Schedule: 4x10s, Day Shift
Includes weekends, holidays, and on-call/callback per unit needs
Call: 1–2 times per week and 1–2 weekends per month
Department: Interventional Radiology – Neuro (Neurosurgery/Neuroscience focus)
Active New York State Radiologic Technologist license (NY ONLY)
ARRT certification required
BLS (AHA only) required
Minimum 2 years of experience required
Neurosurgery/Neuroscience experience required
Interventional Radiology (IR) experience preferred
VIR certification is a plus
Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging using proper positioning and exposure techniques
Assist radiologists during interventional neuro procedures
Prepare and monitor patients for radiographic and fluoroscopic exams
Operate and maintain imaging equipment (X-ray, CR, DR) and report issues as needed
Ensure patient safety, rights, and comfort throughout procedures
Utilize HIS, RIS, and PACS for imaging workflow and documentation
Support department operations by assisting with patient transport, stocking, and general workflow tasks
