Responsibilities
Perform ultrasound imaging procedures with accuracy to support clinical diagnosis.
Maintain patient safety, comfort, and privacy during all ultrasound procedures.
Adhere to regulatory standards and facility policies; maintain licensure requirements.
Meet productivity and quality targets; contribute to pipeline-based planning and forecasting.
Operate and calibrate ultrasound equipment; report malfunctions promptly.
Document imaging findings clearly; ensure accurate and timely charting.
Collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to determine appropriate imaging protocols.
Maintain clean, organized work area and adhere to infection control protocols.
Demonstrate a growth mindset by seeking feedback and pursuing continuing education.
Assist in scheduling and preparing patients to optimize workflow and throughput.
Educate patients about procedures, expected outcomes, and post-procedure care.
Support mentorship and onboarding of new team members as needed.
Experience/Qualifications
Certified ultrasound technologist with ARDMS or equivalent licensure.
Proficient in abdominal, pelvic, and vascular ultrasound imaging protocols.
Maintain patient safety, privacy, and infection control standards at all times.
Collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to select appropriate imaging protocols.
Ability to calibrate, operate, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment; report malfunctions promptly.
Accurate documentation and timely charting of imaging findings.
Meet productivity and quality targets; contribute to pipeline-based planning.
Maintain clean, organized work area and follow infection control protocols.
Pursue continuing education; demonstrate growth mindset and professional development.
Assist in scheduling, patient preparation, and throughput optimization.
