THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:

·        Perform all mechanical engineering calculations, duties, planning activities, design work and product selection for the mechanical parts of projects.

·        Develop engineering details into equipment and manpower needs, RFP’s and final designs.

·        With the application of technical skills assist in the development of plant improvement projects and troubleshoot plant problems.

·        Ability to comprehend and perform calculations related to heat and mass transfer, fluid dynamics and thermodynamics

·        Use knowledge and experience for project management purposes.

·        Develop equipment layouts, piping layouts, construction packages and occasionally PFD’s and P&ID.

·        Identify, gather information and input and integrate new technical developments and process for feasibility and cost effectiveness.

·        Work cohesively with contractors and other internal departments and disciplines.

BACKGROUND PROFILE:

·        BS in Mechanical Engineering

·        Microsoft Office Products

·        Adobe Acrobat Professional or BlueBeam Revu

·        CADWorx Plant 3D

·        Document Tracking Database

·        Excellent verbal, written and computer communication skills

·        Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.

·        Experience with project management for construction projects.

·        Good organizational skills.
