Location: Houston, TX

Pay Rate: Starting at $45.00/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 PM - 7:15 AM

Dean's Professional Services is seeking a skilled and dependable Radiology Technologist to join a fast-paced, patient-centered hospital in Houston, TX. This overnight opportunity is ideal for professionals who thrive in high-acuity environments and have experience supporting emergency, inpatient, and surgical imaging. You will play a vital role in delivering timely, high-quality diagnostic imaging that supports patient care and clinical decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Provide imaging support across the Emergency Department, inpatient units, and operating rooms
• Operate portable radiology equipment for bedside imaging
• Assist physicians during fluoroscopic and surgical procedures using C-arm technology
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and high-quality imaging results
• Verify patient identity, review orders, and assess patient history prior to procedures
• Monitor patients during imaging exams and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
• Adhere to radiation safety standards, infection control, and regulatory requirements
• Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs promptly

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current ARRT certification required
• Active Texas MRT license required
• 2 +years of hospital-based radiology experience preferred
• Experience with portable imaging and C-arm procedures strongly preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures, anatomy, and radiation safety
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills
