Litigation Associate Attorney (1-6 years)

Direct Counsel is seeking a Litigation Associate with 1–6 years of experience to join a premier litigation practice handling sophisticated and high-stakes disputes. Responsibilities

• Support all phases of complex commercial litigation matters
• Draft motions, briefs, memoranda, and other substantive legal filings
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues
• Participate in discovery, witness preparation, and deposition preparation
• Assist with trial strategy, hearing preparation, and case management
• Collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys on high-profile matters
• Interface with clients and litigation teams on case development and strategy

Qualifications

• 1–6 years of litigation experience
• Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills
• Strong academic credentials
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative and demanding environment
• California Bar admission required
