Labor & Employment Associate (Mid-Level)
Location: Detroit, MI (Hybrid)
Salary Range: $260,000 – $310,000

Our client, a nationally recognized law firm, is seeking a mid-level Labor & Employment Associate (3–4 years) to join its Detroit office. This is a strong opportunity to work on a broad mix of employment matters within a sophisticated and collaborative practice.

What You’ll Work On:

  • Defending wage and hour class action litigation
  • Handling single-plaintiff employment disputes
  • Advising clients on labor and employment matters, including union-related issues
  • Managing OSHA matters and EEOC charges
  • Drafting pleadings, motions, and other court filings
  • Conducting discovery and participating in motion practice
  • Assisting with trial preparation and settlement negotiations

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3–4 years of labor & employment experience in a law firm setting
  • Experience with wage and hour litigation and employment counseling
  • Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated client service and relationship-building ability
  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active Michigan Bar admission
