CDR ProSource is seeking a CNC Lathe Machine Operator for a contract-to-hire opportunity with our client in Three Rivers, MI. This position is ideal for candidates with machining experience who are looking for a long-term opportunity with a stable company. CNC programming experience is not required.

- Schedule: 1st Shift
- Monday – Thursday
- 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Fridays Off – Enjoy a 3-Day Weekend!
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC lathe machines to produce parts according to specifications.
- Load raw materials and remove finished parts from machines.
- Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and job instructions.
- Monitor machine performance and maintain quality standards.
- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Perform minor machine adjustments as needed.
- Report equipment or quality issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous CNC lathe or machining experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and job instructions.
- Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 40–50 pounds as needed.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
