Job Description

This position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the law firm, including performing administrative services, supporting the legal team, and ensuring the firm remains in compliance with state legal regulations. The ideal candidate must have a strong work ethic, exceptional problem-solving skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Communicates with clients, counsel, and court representatives
- Manage legal documentation and correspondence
- Coordinate appointments
- Manages all correspondence and recordkeeping
- Complete administrative duties such as greeting clients, making copies, answering, and directing phone calls
- Investigate case facts to ensure all relevant information
- Identify appropriate materials, legal articles, judicial decisions, and laws for assigned case attorneys
Qualifications and Skills:
- Organize, analyze, and compile information
- Collect and record exhibits
- Develop written statements
- Work with attorneys to draft documents and letters
- Prepare motions and pleas for filing in court
- Track and organize files from beginning to end
- Two-year degree or equivalent certification
- Must know MS Office
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to take direction and work independently with little or no supervision
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Experience in consumer law and knowledge of commercial transactions preferred
- 1-3 years of working experience as a legal assistant preferred
