Armed Security Officer

Excelsior Defense are seeking an Armed Security Officer to become part of our exceptional team. The selected individual will look for a part-time or Full time to protect our client's premises, assets, and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions and maintain access control into the property. The selected individual will be doing rounds, scanning in different points throughout the property in the housing contract. The Armed Officer needs to be prompt with patrolling the community to making sure everything is safe.

This position is in the Orlando Area including on position in the Sanford Area (32771)

1. Saturday and Sunday (Area Code: 32805) Time: 9:00pm to 5:00am

2. Tuesday and Wednesday (Area Code: 32810) Time: 9:00pm to 5:00am

3. Saturday and Sunday (Area Code: 32771) Time: 9:00pm to 5:00am

4. Friday and Saturday (Area Code: 32805) Time: 9:00pm to 5:00am

5. Saturday and Sunday (Area Code: 32822) Time: 9:00pm to 5:00am

Qualification:

• Protect company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
• Act lawfully in direct defense or life or property
• Apprehend criminals and evict violators
• Report in detain any suspicious incidents
• Report Writing

Skills Required

• Proven Work experience as a security officer or relevant position
• Valid D and G security license (Needs to be active with both security license)
• Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
• Must have your own weapon
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills and detain orientation
• Integrity and professionalism
• Detailed report writing

Base Rate: 19.01 hourly
