School Psychologist (Birth–5) – Multiple-Full‑Time Positions

Contract Term: July 6, 2026 – June 11, 2027
Contract Length: 205‑day or 215‑day option
Service Areas: Salem/South Marion County and Yamhill County
Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract


About the Opportunity
We are seeking two dedicated School Psychologists to provide comprehensive services for children birth through five years old across Salem/South Marion County and Yamhill County. These positions support early childhood programs, multidisciplinary teams, and families through assessment, consultation, and early intervention/early childhood special education (EI/ECSE) collaboration.
Ideal candidates bring strong early childhood expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to equitable, family-centered practices.



Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct developmental and psychoeducational evaluations for children ages birth–5.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary eligibility determinations aligned with EI/ECSE guidelines.
  • Provide consultation to educators, specialists, and families regarding developmental, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
  • Support early intervention teams with data-based decision-making and service planning.
  • Maintain timely, compliant documentation and contribute to IFSP development.
  • Collaborate across service providers, community partners, and county teams to ensure coordinated support.



Qualifications
  • Master’s, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid Oregon TSPC School Psychologist License (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Experience with early childhood assessment and intervention preferred.
  • Strong skills in collaboration, communication, and family-centered practice.
  • Ability to travel within assigned service areas.



Contract Details
  • Two full-time positions available
  • 205‑day or 215‑day contract (based on candidate preference or program need)
  • Service Areas: One position primarily serving Salem/South Marion County, one serving Yamhill County
