Clinical Psychologist Inpatient Rehabilitation

Position Overview
A premier inpatient rehabilitation hospital is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary care team. This role focuses on supporting adult patients recovering from complex medical conditions, including:
- Polytrauma
- Spinal cord injuries
- Acquired brain injuries
- Other neurological and medically complex diagnoses
You'll play a critical role in helping patients and families navigate recovery, adjustment, and long-term outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive psychological assessment and treatment in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Deliver interventions related to adjustment to disability, coping, and pain management
- Conduct neurobehavioral and cognitive assessments to support diagnosis and discharge planning
- Provide family counseling and education
- Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
- Contribute to care across the continuum, including potential outpatient involvement
Qualifications
- PhD or PsyD from an APA-accredited Clinical Psychology program
- Completion of an APA-accredited internship
- Licensed in Florida or license-eligible
- Experience or training in rehabilitation psychology, health psychology, or behavioral medicine
- Postdoctoral experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting preferred
