Job Title: Power BI Developer with Exp in GCP

Work Time Zone: EST

Rate: $60/hour on 1099/C2C

Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid – 3 days on-site)

We are looking for a highly skilled Power BI Developer with a strong background in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AI integration. In this role, you will design and develop dynamic dashboards, integrate AI models using GCP tools, and provide actionable insights that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Collaboration
  Partner with business users, product owners, and analysts to understand data needs and deliver impactful solutions.
• Dashboard Development
  Build interactive and scalable Power BI reports using data sourced from BigQuery and other GCP-native services.
• AI Integration with GCP
  Integrate Vertex AI and BigQuery ML to enhance reports with predictive modeling, natural language summaries, forecasting, and AI-powered insights within Power BI dashboards.
• Data Modeling & Preparation
  Translate business requirements into efficient data models and DAX expressions; transform data using Power Query and Python where needed.
• Data Pipeline Collaboration
  Work closely with data engineers to ensure smooth ingestion, transformation, and availability of GCP data assets (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub).
• Advanced Analytics
  Use AI/ML techniques from GCP (Vertex AI, BigQuery ML) to support predictive insights, anomaly detection, and optimization models.
• Data Governance & Quality
  Support data governance practices by ensuring accuracy, consistency, and security of data used in dashboards and models.

Required Qualifications

• Experience:
  7–10 years in data analytics or BI development, with at least 2-3 years working in GCP environments.
• Power BI Expertise:
  Strong proficiency with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and custom visuals.
• GCP Knowledge:
  Hands-on experience with BigQuery, Vertex AI, Cloud Storage, and Looker Studio is a plus.
• AI/ML Integration:
  Experience integrating AI models into dashboards using Vertex AI APIs, BigQuery ML, or Python-based services hosted on GCP.
• Programming:
  Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Python for AI modeling and API integrations.
• Communication:
  Excellent communication and storytelling skills to translate complex insights into actionable business outcomes.
