Clinical Laboratory Scientist

Location: California 95482
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Pay: $1,816 – $2,041/week

• Variable Shift (8-hour shifts)

• Start times: 6:30 AM, 10:00 AM, or 1:00 PM

• Mostly days; occasional evening coverage as needed

• Rotating schedule with every 3rd weekend

• No call

• Perform and prioritize lab testing across multiple disciplines

• Analyze, validate, and report accurate test results

• Ensure specimen integrity and follow QA/QC protocols

• Perform blood bank testing (gel & tube methods)

• Maintain equipment, inventory, and lab safety standards

• Train/support lab staff and ensure HIPAA compliance

• Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s in CLS/Medical Technology or related field – Required

  • 3+ years clinical lab experience – Preferred

  • Strong blood bank experience (gel & tube) – Required

• Licensure/Certifications:

  • Active California CLS (Generalist) License – Required

  • ASCP or NCA Certification – Preferred

• Vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions may apply)

• Rotating schedule to support lab coverage needs
