Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist

Location: California 95482
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Pay: $1,865 – $2,095/week

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• 40 hours/week (5x8s), mostly Monday–Friday

• Every other weekend coverage

• No call

• Supervise lab staff and oversee all testing/POCT operations

• Ensure accuracy/validity of results and regulatory compliance

• Lead quality control, QA, and lab safety programs

• Manage instrumentation (installation, validation, maintenance)

• Train staff and support competency development

• Maintain accreditation standards (CLIA, CAP, OSHA, etc.)

• Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s in CLS/Medical Technology or related field – Required

  • 5+ years clinical lab experience – Preferred

  • 2+ years leadership experience – Preferred

  • Experience with instrumentation installation/validation – Required

• Licensure/Certifications:

  • Active California CLS (Generalist) License – Required

  • ASCP or NCA Certification – Preferred

• No call required

• Vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions may apply)
