Job Description:

We Are Seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to support business intelligence, reporting, application development, and data modernization initiatives. This role will focus on transforming complex data into actionable insights through dashboards, reports, and visualizations while supporting the development and enhancement of enterprise applications and data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Power BI, SQL development, Microsoft technologies, and business intelligence best practices, with the ability to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions that drive informed decision-making.

Responsibilities:

·         Design, develop, enhance, and support business intelligence solutions using Power BI, including dashboards, reports, datasets, semantic models, and visualizations.

·         Create and maintain data models, measures, calculations, and transformations using DAX and Power Query.

·         Develop operational and executive-level dashboards that provide meaningful insights into organizational performance, trends, and key metrics.

·         Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, define KPIs, and deliver actionable business intelligence solutions.

·         Design, develop, and support applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and related Microsoft technologies.

·         Develop and maintain web forms, APIs, integrations, and internal business applications.

·         Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, stored procedures, views, tables, and other database objects.

·         Support ETL processes, data transformation efforts, data cleansing, and reporting automation initiatives.

·         Troubleshoot application, reporting, database, and data quality issues to ensure system reliability and accuracy.

·         Support application deployment, web server configuration, maintenance activities, and system enhancements.

·         Modernize legacy applications, workflows, reports, and business processes where appropriate.

·         Document technical processes, system changes, report logic, data sources, and support procedures.

·         Apply secure coding practices, data governance principles, and reporting best practices throughout solution development.

·         Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure solutions align with organizational objectives.

·         Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to junior developers and support personnel.

·         Participate in Agile development activities, code reviews, testing efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills:

·         Strong hands-on experience developing Power BI dashboards, reports, datasets, semantic models, and data visualizations.

·         Experience creating data models, measures, calculations, and transformations using DAX and Power Query.

·         Strong experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and/or .NET Core application development.

·         Experience with SQL development, including queries, stored procedures, views, database design, and performance optimization.

·         Experience developing and supporting APIs, web forms, integrations, and business applications.

·         Knowledge of ETL processes, data transformation, reporting automation, and data quality management.

·         Experience supporting web applications and web server environments.

·         Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.

·         Experience building executive dashboards, operational reports, and business intelligence solutions.

·         Understanding of data governance, security, access controls, and reporting best practices.

·         Familiarity with Microsoft technologies including SQL Server, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Azure, and Entra ID.

·         Experience with JavaScript, AngularJS, React, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and related web technologies is preferred.

·         Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

·         Ability to mentor team members and provide technical leadership when needed.

·         Experience working in enterprise, government, or large-scale business environments is preferred.

·         Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality solutions in a collaborative environment.
