Responsibilities

  • Perform patient radiotherapy procedures under supervision and ensure safety protocols.

  • Adhere to California regulatory and safety standards for radiation therapy.

  • Coordinate daily patient scheduling and treatment pipelines to meet targets.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation for compliance.

  • Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all patient interactions.

  • Monitor patient comfort and safety during therapy sessions and respond to issues.

  • Collaborate with physicians and team to optimize treatment plans and outcomes.

  • Analyze treatment metrics and contribute to performance dashboards.

  • Support team in achieving quarterly targets through proactive outreach and referrals.

  • Participate in professional development activities to advance technical skills.

  • Educate patients and families about treatment processes and expectations.

  • Maintain on-site equipment readiness and report maintenance needs promptly.


Experience/Qualifications

  • California radiation therapy licensure or eligibility for licensure.

  • Certified radiologic technologist with RT credential and state fluoroscopy training.

  • Knowledge of California radiation safety standards and regulatory compliance.

  • Confidentiality, ethical standards, and patient privacy compliance.

  • Experience delivering patient-centered radiotherapy under supervision.

  • Strong ability to manage daily treatment scheduling and treatment pipelines.

  • Accurate documentation and electronic health record (EHR) proficiency.

  • Competence in patient comfort monitoring and handling adverse events.

  • Target-driven mindset with proactive outreach to support referrals.

  • Collaborative team player with ability to discuss treatment plans with physicians.

  • Ability to analyze treatment metrics and contribute to dashboards.

  • Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.

  • Patient education skills for explaining processes and expectations.

  • Maintenance awareness for on-site equipment readiness and reporting.
