Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CT/X-Ray Technologist to perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures with a primary focus on CT, while also supporting general radiology (X-Ray) as needed. The technologist will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining compliance with hospital and departmental policies.

This role requires strong independent judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to function in a fast-paced acute care environment. The technologist may also assist with IV insertion and contrast injections as part of CT protocols.

Schedule:

• Varied schedule
• Tuesday & Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Friday & Saturday: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• On-call: TBD
• Weekends/Holidays: Required if needed
• No scheduling accommodations allowed (no block scheduling or special requests)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging procedures
• Operate and troubleshoot CT, CR, DR, PACS, HIS, and RIS systems
• Administer IV contrast injections when required
• Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and infection control standards
• Ensure proper documentation and communication using clinical systems and Tiger Text
• Support additional departmental duties as assigned during low census

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of current CT and X-Ray experience
• Must have current agency travel experience (6–12+ months required)
• Strong CT competency required
• IV insertion and injection experience required
• Must be willing to float or assist in other radiology duties as needed
• Must have reliable transportation (own vehicle required)
• Must be within compliance with facility travel radius requirements (50-mile rule)

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• ARRT (CT)
• Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License (or eligible/pending)
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• Skills checklists for both X-Ray and CT (within 1 year required)

Additional Notes:

• No local travelers (must reside outside 50-mile radius)
• No concurrent per diem or PRN assignments allowed
• RTO must be submitted at time of application (max 5 days allowed)
• No schedule changes after offer acceptance
• Meditech Expanse experience preferred
