We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week assignment at a healthcare facility. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services that help patients improve functional abilities, increase independence, and enhance overall quality of life.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a new clinical setting while making a meaningful impact on patient recovery and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing individualized occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist
  • Provide therapeutic activities and exercises to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), fine motor skills, coordination, strength, and functional performance
  • Monitor patient progress during treatment sessions and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, safety strategies, and home exercise programs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility guidelines
  • Collaborate with Occupational Therapists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support quality patient care
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on positive rehabilitation outcomes
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and professional treatment environment

Requirements

  • Required: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Required: Active COTA license in the state of assignment or ability to obtain
  • Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience
  • Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments and patient populations
