Job Summary:
The position of Outpatient Mammographer is based in Sacramento, California. The role involves performing outpatient screening mammograms and digital mammography procedures utilizing advanced imaging technology. Candidates are required to bring theirlicense on the first day. This healthcare professional will be responsible for ensuring radiation safety and adhering to infection control protocols. The position requires a commitment to a standard day shift schedule.
Job Details:
- Certifications: ARRT Mammography (M), ARRT Radiologic (R), Basic Life Support (BLS) candidates must possess these certifications at the time of submission.
- Education and Experience: Valid license in mammography, with a minimum of 2 years of clinical mammography experience required.
- Location Requirements: Candidates must be licensed in the state of California.
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, from 0730 to 1600, five days per week. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT Mammography certification, ARRT Radiologic certification, BLS certification, California licensure, and 2 or more years of mammography experience.
- Additional Information: Experience with 3-D Mammography, digital quality assurance procedures, Hologic 3D imaging technology, and Epic electronic medical record system highly preferred. Candidates should be available within 3-5 days for lab work and must provide a 7-year work history verification.
