Job Description & Requirements

Schedule: Tuesday–Thursday | 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Location: Woodsville, NH
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort throughout the imaging process
- Prepare patients for imaging exams, including positioning and removal of artifacts
- Perform routine and specialized radiologic procedures in compliance with protocols
- Ensure patient safety through proper shielding and adherence to ALARA principles
- Communicate effectively with nurses, radiologists, and imaging team members
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain imaging equipment and supplies
- Complete and document exams accurately in PACS and EMR systems
- Assist with scheduling, answering phones, and administrative tasks as needed
- Monitor supply inventory, perform quality control checks, and document maintenance
- Support patient transport and coordination for ED and inpatient cases
- Participate in on-call rotation (must be reachable and within 30 minutes when on call)

- Board-certified, subspecialty-trained radiologists (Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center)
- Department staffed 24/7 with registered professionals
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT (R) required; ARRT (CT or MR) preferred
- New Hampshire Imaging License
- Current BLS Certification
- Multi-modality experience (preferred)
- Strong patient care and customer service skills
- Experience with Athena and Cerner (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate critical thinking
- Must live within 30 minutes for on-call coverage (preferred)
