Our client, a leading organization in electromechanical equipment assembly, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Switchboard Assembler to join their team. As a Switchboard Assembler, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting the production of high-quality electrical units. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Switchboard Assembler
Location: Pomona, CA
Pay Range: $18.50
Shift: 4:00PM-12:30AM
What's the Job?
- Assemble or modify electromechanical equipment such as switchboards and lighting panels using mechanical tools and blueprints.
- Process work orders efficiently, utilizing computers and scanning devices to adhere to production schedules.
- Read and interpret blueprints, bills of materials, and diagrams to ensure accurate assembly.
- Gather parts, assemble components, and fasten parts onto frames or subassemblies.
- Verify units meet specifications, prepare finished units for shipping, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in assembly or related field.
- Experienced in assembling large components
- Training in assembly processes and familiarity with blueprints.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical/measuring tools.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English effectively.
