Description:

Spend your days welcoming and engaging Pella Windows and Doors by Horne customers in our state-of-the-art Traverse City Experience Center (aka customer product showroom). Our customers include homeowners, builders, contractors, and remodelers from the surrounding Grand Traverse area.  Through building quick rapport, you will identify customer needs and apply your learned knowledge of Pella product and business processes to earn trust and provide solutions. Your ultimate goal is to nurture relationships and inspire new business for our sales team.


Primary Responsibilities

  1. Greeting current and prospective customers in our showroom in Traverse City, asking questions to learn about their window and door needs and desires, and enthusiastically sharing information and demonstrating through physical and digital displays how our Pella products can meet their needs.
  2. Various daily sales tasks including scheduling product deliveries, preparing estimates for product orders, and service coordination. Also various tasks that support the operation of the showroom facility.
  3. Assisting our sales team in planning and executing customer events in our Pella Experience Center.
  4. Occasional phone, email, and social media outreach to prospective home builders and contractors is a bonus opportunity for interested candidates.


Requirements:
  • 2+ successful years in a customer service or sales role. 
  • Be confident, social and outgoing. Work with a positive attitude and a passion for helping others. Listen with interest, empathy, and attention to detail.
  • Openly and professionally communicate with a variety of people, including product demonstrations, one-on-one and to small groups. 
  • Enjoy learning about the competition, and be ready to demonstrate the value of Pella over other available choices. 
  • Be tech and people savvy. Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software such as Salesforce or other order management system a plus. 
  • SCHEDULE: Since you are the core employee on-staff at the Experience Center during opening hours, you must be able to consistently work Tuesday through Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm and Saturday 10:00am-2:00pm. You will have 1 Saturday off per month.



Compensation details: 52000-60000 Yearly Salary
