If you enjoy decoding schematics, perfecting every crimp, and seeing a finished panel light up, you’ll thrive on Siemens’ EA manufacturing floor in Wendell, NC. Help us assemble the power distribution equipment that underpins smarter, more resilient grids.

What a winning week can look like
  1. You translate BOMs, layouts, and wire lists into a cleanly wired sub-assembly—every termination torqued to spec.
  2. You route and crimp large power cables using the right method and tooling, then verify workmanship to drawings.
  3. You spot a process improvement, document it, and share it with the team—continuously raising our bar.
  4. You log transactions accurately in the system and keep your work instructions up to date.
  5. You collaborate across stations, safely operating hand/power tools and measuring with precision.
Shifts, pay, and where you’ll work
  • Location: Wendell, NC
  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
  • Hourly: Mechanical Assembly $19.00 | Electrical Assembly $20.36

Note: For 2nd shift positions, training will begin on 1st shift prior to transitioning to 2nd shift, with an additional $1.50 shift differential for 2nd shift.

Minimum qualifications to excel
Mechanical assembler
  • Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Basic English skills for reading, writing, and speaking.
Electrical assembler
  • 1+ year in mechanical assembly or a closely related mechanical role.
  • 1+ years of wiring in commercial or industrial environments.
  • Basic English (read/write/speak).
  • Comfort interpreting schematics, layouts, and wire lists with limited oversight.
  • Experienced with standard hand/power tools (including pneumatic and battery), wiring tools, and accurate tape-measure reading.
Preferred profile
  • Knowledge of electrical clearances.
  • Associate degree or technical training aligned to the work.
  • Evidence of quality and productivity excellence.
Core responsibilities you’ll own
  • Assemble mechanical and electrical components into sub-assemblies and finished products per drawings and layouts.
  • Perform precise wire prep, crimping, and terminations; verify against BOMs and documentation.
  • Apply torque specs using calibrated wrenches and adhere to defined processes.
  • Record production data and job movements accurately.
  • Operate hand, power, pneumatic, and battery tools; measure with tape measures and standard devices safely.
  • Identify parts/components, build kits, and support aftermarket builds.
  • Follow Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety policies, be a strong teammate, and take on additional tasks as required.
