Job Description
Location: Kansas City, Missouri
The Foster Care Case Management (FCCM) Supervisor provides leadership, guidance, and support to Foster Care Case Managers to ensure high-quality services for children and families. This role is responsible for clinical supervision, case consultation, staff development, and ongoing training. The FCCM Supervisor conducts regular case reviews, monitors compliance with agency policies, state regulations, and legal requirements, and assists staff in identifying and coordinating resources to meet the unique needs of the individuals and families we serve.
Hybrid Remote Flexibility
The majority of work is completed remotely or in the field.
1–3 days per week are designated for in-office responsibilities, meetings, and supervision activities.
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Current automobile insurance.
Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening, physical examination, and background check.
Experience working with children and families in a trauma-informed environment.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Strong understanding of child welfare and foster care services.
Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, community partners, and staff.
Skilled in conflict resolution and managing challenging situations.
Ability to work effectively with children and adults exhibiting complex emotional and behavioral needs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to facilitate family meetings and provide staff coaching and support.
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
