Responsibilities for Senior Pricing Analyst:
- Develop and present financial models to evaluate proposed fee arrangements and pricing strategies
- Analyze profitability, financial exposure, and risk associated with client engagements and alternative fee arrangements
- Partner with attorneys to create detailed matter budgets, staffing models, and pricing scenarios
- Communicate pricing recommendations and financial insights to partners and firm leadership
- Conduct data analysis and precedent research to support pricing decisions and maintain pricing databases
- Assist with the financial components of client RFPs and business development initiatives
- Collaborate with Billing, Finance, and other departments to ensure fee arrangements are properly implemented and monitored
Requirements for Senior Pricing Analyst:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- 3-6 years of pricing, financial analysis, or related experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills with the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial concepts to various stakeholders
- Experience with Elite 3E, SQL, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
