Position: Nurse Practitioner / Healthcare Center Manager

Pay range: 70.89 - 105/hr. ($5000 SIGN-ON Bonus!)

Job type: Permanent role with full benefits

Setting: Primary/Occupational Care employee clinic

Schedule:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 7 am - 5 pm

  • Wednesday: 8 am - 12 pm

  • No weekends or on-call schedule!

Overview: Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner / Health Center Manager for a full-time opportunity in Jackson, CA. This role combines hands-on patient care with leadership responsibilities, overseeing daily clinic operations, staff management, workflow efficiency, infection control, and quality initiatives in a clinical setting. This position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, a stable weekday schedule, and on-site childcare for added convenience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages daily operations, staff, and workflow to ensure efficient health center performance.

  • Oversees hiring, training, onboarding, and performance management of staff (typically composed of RNs, LPNs, administrative, and technical staff).

  • Allocates time to patient care and technical expertise as needed.

  • Monitors patient flow, patient utilization and penetration.

  • Identifies process improvement opportunities, workflow efficiencies, determines root cause analysis.

  • Serves as infection control lead, collaborates on quality initiatives and maintains compliance with regulations.

  • Communicates corporate policies, conducts meetings, and engages with client representatives.

  • Completes incident reports and assists with investigations and complaint resolutions.

  • Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Primary care, Urgent care, Occupational health, Emergency room, or experience in a similar setting is preferred

  • At least 2 years of NP experience is required, prior management experience preferred.

  • Active Nurse Practitioner License in California

  • Active BLS from AHA or be willing to obtain it post-offer.

  • Experience accessing CDC, WHO, APIC or other industry standards for Infection Prevention practices preferred
