Key Responsibilities of the Supply Room Supervisor:

Overall day‑to‑day supervision of supply room operations, ensuring consistent execution, prioritization, and sticking to standard processes
Ownership of inventory accuracy, including cycle counting discipline, discrepancy resolution, and governance of SAP transactions
Oversight of receiving, issuing, storage, labeling, and bin location management to ensure traceability and ease of access
Coordination with Purchasing, Maintenance, Production, and Planning to support production needs and prevent material‑related downtime
Monitoring open POs, shortages, and critical items, escalating risks proactively before they impact operations
Enforcing access control, housekeeping standards, and safety compliance within the supply room
Training, coaching, and supporting supply room personnel to ensure consistency, accountability, and performance
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and sustaining gains already achieved in inventory and process control
