Job Description
Electro-Mechanical Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location: Moore, SC 29369

A day in the role

You start your shift with a quick walk-through of production lines, reviewing maintenance logs and prioritizing preventive tasks. You perform scheduled checks, listen for changes in machine behavior, and tighten, calibrate, or replace components before breakdowns occur. When a line stops, you isolate energy sources using LOTO, diagnose the issue—mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic—and get it running safely and quickly. Throughout the day, you document work in detail, collaborate with operators and fellow techs to improve equipment performance, and assist with installing or commissioning new machinery. You finish by tidying your area, updating records, and handing off clear notes for the next team.

What you'll do
  • Execute routine inspections and planned preventive maintenance to maximize uptime.
  • Troubleshoot and correct mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC, and utility/powerhouse issues.
  • Repair or replace worn and defective components, ensuring safe return to service.
  • Maintain precise records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and repairs.
  • Partner with production and maintenance teammates to boost reliability and performance.
  • Follow safety protocols at all times, keeping a clean, organized workspace.
  • Assist with installation, alignment, and startup of new equipment as needed.
What you bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in industrial maintenance preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in industrial maintenance or a closely related craft.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read and apply technical manuals, drawings, and electrical schematics.
