About the Role

Begin your day in Lancaster, SC transforming raw metal parts into precisely finished components. As a Precision Surface Grinding Technician, you’ll set up and run a variety of grinding equipment to smooth, shape, and finish parts to exact specifications. You’ll rely on your blueprint reading skills and quality checks with micrometers, calipers, and gauges to hold tight tolerances throughout your shift.

Your Impact

• Operate grinding machines to remove excess material and achieve precise dimensions with smooth finishes.
• Perform complete setups, including selecting tooling and preparing workpieces.
• Interpret and follow blueprints to meet required specifications.
• Verify tolerances using micrometers, calipers, and gauges as part of in-process QC.
• Deburr components to deliver a clean, finished product.
