Early Intervention - Speech-Language Pathologist (Part Time)  (Full Time)
Location: Woonsocket, RI

  Early Intervention - Speech-Language Pathologist (Part Time)

Pay range- $34-$36/hr

 

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Early Intervention team serving infants and toddlers (ages 0–3), who are experiencing delays in communication and feeding disorders. This role involves providing home-based services to support communication development in young children and coaching families through education and collaboration.

Scope of practice includes:

  • Addressing articulation delays or disorders.
  • Encouraging vocabulary growth, sentence structure, and social communication.   
  • Assisting children with difficulties in sucking, chewing, swallowing, or transitioning to solid foods.
  • Socio-pragmatic skills
  • Empowering caregivers with strategies to support communication and feeding during daily routines. Also, providing education on developmental milestones and how to encourage progress at home.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized family treatment plans (IFSP).
  • Provide direct therapy services in natural environments (home, daycare).
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to IFSP development.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Rhode Island SLP license (or eligibility).
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience with pediatric populations preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
