Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT certification to work in a Level I trauma center CT department.
Details
- Work in a Level I trauma center, Stroke Accredited facility serving a diverse community
- CT department handles emergent inpatient and ER cases alongside outpatient and OR needs
- Procedures include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and brain perfusion CT studies
- 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with every 3rd weekend shift running 2:30 PM to 3:00 AM (Sat/Sun)
- One call shift required approximately every 10 weeks, with availability required within 1 hour of being called
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience
- Current BLS and ARRT certifications required; license required if applicable
- ARRT Advanced certification preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure ER and trauma environment
- 2 professional references required for consideration: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or Supervisor; a Charge RN is acceptable as the 2nd reference; co-worker references are not accepted
Additional Information
- Perform CT imaging across a broad range of studies including brain perfusion, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Local candidates are accepted
- Former employees are eligible after being away from the facility for at least 6 months
- RTO must be submitted with your profile and built into the contract; requests are limited to 7 days or fewer
- All candidates must complete Ohio state fingerprinting promptly after booking; detailed instructions will be provided by the credentialing team
- Parking is available on-site through CampusParc with multiple permit options at varying price points
