Job Summary:
The Springfield, Missouri-based CT Technologist position involves performing diagnostic computed tomography (CT) scans independently at a technical level. The role includes patient transport, observation of universal precautions, and adherence to safety protocols. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

  • Location: Springfield, MO
  • Shift: Nights, 4x10, 8:30pm - 7am, Monday - Thursday
  • Schedule: Nights, 4x10, 8:30pm - 7am Monday - Thursday, Minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training in an AMA-approved school, meeting the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and registered with the ARRT in CT. Certifications include BLS from the American Heart Association (AHA) only. Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience as a CT technologist in a hospital setting.

  • Additional Information: Evening shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week. Vaccinations: Flu Vaccination with Mercy Approved Exemption required from November 1 to April 1. Declinations are not accepted.
  • Equipment Used: CT Scanners, power injectors, workstations, computers (including PACS, HIS/RIS, QC).
  • Skills and Abilities: Proficiency in Medical Scanning with understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, 3-D knowledge, computer skills, power injectors, and CPR. Physical ability to manipulate equipment, evaluate images, transport patients, and maintain good communication in stressful and emergent situations.
  • Additional Duties: Transport patients when needed, perform post-processing procedures on Vitrea workstations and QC stations, observe universal precautions, and adhere to downtime protocols.
