Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT certification for a 13-week cardiac cath lab assignment at a community hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL.
Details
- Work in a cardiac cath lab with 2 procedure rooms at a 125-bed community hospital
- Average caseload of 5 cases across 2 rooms
- Cases include left/right heart catheterization, pacemaker/ICD implantation, loop recorder implants, peripheral vascular interventions, and STEMI interventions
- Charting in Epic (experience required)
- Day shifts, 5x8 hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Typically 1 weekend per month required
- On-call required approximately 12 days per month with a 30-minute response time
- No floating outside of assigned unit
- Block scheduling is at manager's discretion
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
- Basic interventional radiology experience required
- Active ARRT certification required
- Current BLS and ACLS required
- Illinois state license required (pending accepted)
- License required if applicable
- Epic EMR experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Performs left/right heart catheterization, pacemaker/ICD implantation, loop recorder implants, peripheral vascular interventions, and STEMI response procedures
- First-time travelers will be considered, though prior travel experience is preferred
- Limited to 1 RTO request per contract
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Free parking available in any unrestricted space
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
