💼 What You’ll DoAs a Cardiovascular Technician, you’ll play a critical role in supporting patient care by monitoring and identifying heart activity. You’ll work closely with physicians, nurses, and patients to ensure accurate, timely cardiovascular testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform EKGs and cardiovascular diagnostic tests
- Apply, monitor, and process cardiac monitoring equipment
- Identify and interpret heart rhythms
- Set up and maintain EKG and monitoring equipment
- Communicate effectively with patients and care teams
- Support general office and documentation tasks
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in English
- Basic computer skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ year of related experience or Allied Health training
- Certifications such as:
- CCT (Certified Cardiographic Technician)
- CRAT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician)
- CET (Certified EKG Technician)
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
This role is active and hands-on. You’ll need to be able to:
- Lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly
- Stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
- Perform movements such as bending, reaching, kneeling, twisting, and squatting
