Customs Entry Coordinator

Pay Rate: $23.00- 25.00 p/HR

Schedule: M- F, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm


Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Customs Entry Coordinator to support customs entry processing, import documentation, and brokerage operations. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with customs brokerage, freight forwarding, logistics, or import/export experience who are looking to grow their careers in international trade and compliance.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accurate and timely customs documentation.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process customs entries and import documentation.
  • Review commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents for accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations and requirements.
  • Enter shipment information into brokerage and logistics systems.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, carriers, warehouses, and customers to facilitate cargo clearance and delivery.
  • Monitor shipment status and assist with resolving customs-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Support brokerage operations and bonded warehouse activities as needed.


Qualifications

Required

  • 1-2 years of experience in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, logistics, import/export, or a related field.
  • Experience handling customs entries, import documentation, or shipment processing.
  • Strong data entry and computer skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business software applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred

  • Experience with ITS Brokerage System, E2open, Cargowise, Magaya, or WMS platforms.
  • Knowledge of CBP regulations and customs compliance requirements.
  • Experience working in a bonded warehouse or cargo facility environment.
  • Customs entry writer experience.
