Position Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Property Manager to lead operations at a multifamily apartment community in Tampa, FL. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced leader who has a proven track record of improving property performance, increasing occupancy, enhancing resident satisfaction, and driving NOI growth. We are looking for a hands-on professional who can successfully turn a property around and create a culture of accountability, excellence, and resident-focused service.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of multifamily property management experience and strong Yardi experience, including reporting, budgeting, rent collections, and operational management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of multifamily property management experience
- Previous experience as a Property Manager required
- Proven success in stabilizing underperforming communities and improving operational performance
- Strong Yardi experience required
- Experience managing budgets, financial reporting, and expense control
- Strong knowledge of Fair Housing laws and landlord-tenant regulations
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing onsite teams
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze reports and implement strategies to improve occupancy and collections
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily operations of the apartment community
- Develop and implement strategies to improve occupancy, resident retention, and overall property performance
- Analyze financial reports and identify opportunities to increase revenue and reduce expenses
- Manage property budgets, forecasts, and monthly reporting
- Utilize Yardi to manage operations, reporting, leasing activity, and resident accounts
- Lead and mentor leasing, maintenance, and administrative team members
- Monitor leasing performance and ensure occupancy goals are met or exceeded
- Oversee rent collections and delinquency management
- Ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing regulations, and local laws
- Conduct regular property inspections and maintain community standards
- Handle resident concerns and escalated issues professionally and effectively
- Build positive relationships with ownership, vendors, and residents
- Develop marketing initiatives to increase traffic and leasing conversions
